Erotic Museum
As you might expect, the Erotic Museum is located in the middle of Amsterdam’s red light district. The museum looks at eroticism in all its forms throughout the ages. The collection includes sculptures, paintings, drawings, photographs and other artwork. If you want a souvenir to remember your visit, there’s also a gift shop in the museum.

The Erotic museum illustrates the art and history of seduction. The collection of the museum includes images, films and various other objects that give an overview of eroticism through the years. The first floor features an exhibition of erotic objects. One floor up features an exhibition with erotic maps, drawings, photographs and books. On the third floor visitors learn about the ‘red light district’. Sadomasochism is discussed on the fourth floor.
